Elisha veut-dire "Mon Dieu est le sauveur".

L'AT a été traduit de l’hébreu et le NT du grec...

His name is commonly transliterated into English as Elisha via Hebrew, Eliseus via Greek

Non, le NT fut traduit de l'araméen, qui est une langue sémitique.
